Project Staff
The two project officers took up their posts on 31 January 2005.
Angus Ferguson
Angus had spent the previous ten years in media production and education teaching people, from all backgrounds and abilities, throughout Scotland and Europe. This included teaching, from first principles, image manipulation and animation through to documentary and drama production as well as editing skills and web content creation.
His specific computer background stems from 1980 and a "beautiful off-white wedge of self-soldered components known as a ZX80 - now a rather fetching pencil case". An escalation of addiction led to a ZX81, through BBCBs and various other distractions in the form of 386s and 486s to the comparative bliss known as Mac land with 16MB of RAM in the early 90s.
Current equipment includes most of the above as well as various flavours of Linux and Doze running on spare bits and pieces that he didn't have the heart to throw away. Main processing power is back to an off-white slab known as an iBook.
Kyeran Ravenhill
Kye had spent the previous ten years in hiding... to be continued.
