Challenge Fund
In the project business plan £60,000 was identified to fund partner projects. We established a Challenge Fund to which partners could submit bids for funding over the approximately two years.
The Challenge Fund Guidelines, together with an Application Form and an example budget breakdown was downloadable from this site.
The purpose of the Challenge Fund was to encourage the effective use of current and future digital technologies in the museum sector in the East of Scotland.
The fund was be used to develop a range of digital products whilst the Digital Resource Development Team promotes an awareness of the opportunities that better use of IT can provide.
Partners could put in bids as individual institutions or on behalf of a group of insititutions.
