Concordat Signing

25 Signatories from across the East of Scotland met at Edinburgh City Chambers to sign the new Concordat following a morning conference and lunch where Partners were joined by Minister for Culture Linda Fabiani and Museums Galleries Scotland Director Joanne Orr.

Concordat text:

The organisations undernoted have agreed to work in partnership to encourage the development of capacity and sustainability, and the fostering of excellence in museum practice.

We, the undersigned on behalf of our respective organisations are committed to supporting the objectives of the partnership by providing and co-ordinating high quality programmes and projects which enhance the museum service to the public and link into other initiatives within the public, private and voluntary museums sector.
